To All,
i have been racking my brain on fixing this issue. I have a user that was out sick for a day and when he came back in, NONE of the autodesk products worked i mean NONE. They all crash on start up. They dont run under any user, admin or in safemode w/ networking. I am thinking it is a licensing issue as i read in a log for revit 2017 that is said "The license was not found" I have tried all the things i googled on fixing the Licensing short of un-installing every single autodesk product on the computer and whipping anything in registry and deleting any folders left behind. Im tring to save time in having todo that as i have other projects due. The message i get after the crash is "An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will now be Terminated. All of your data has been recently saved so there is no need to create recover file"
i have done the repair. I deleted the files under the Flexnet folder. I tried removing the Autodesk, Inc folder under appData\local.
Versions of products 2016 to 2017
I forgot to add, that i updated all video drivers and windows updates. I even rolled back couple the updates from the day before.
I'm going to just wipe autodesk from the computer and clean it of anything related to autodesk, folders files and registry and start fresh.
