Please note, I do not have a copy of the full shipping version of AutoCAD 2006.
It is my understanding that F12 should toggle Dynamic Input On/Off
Are all your other function keys working correctly within AutoCAD 2006?
Is the AutoCAD 2006 menu file definitely your base menu (ie. What does MenuName return).

Yes, F12 is ok. It toggles the dynamic input featue which is new to 2006. If you have previously assigned functions to this button you will most likely want to change the way the command is activated. The newly designed migration tool for customization should help you with this.

I installed 2006 yesterday - no problems at my end F12 toggles the dynamic input ok.
