I am working on a project where the walls have a wooden finish in front of them (attached jpg).
As most of the walls in the project have this kind of finish, I figured I would create my vertical compound wall and add the sweep profiles to it.
I have to export it Max to create an animation, and I would like to be able to assign a different subcategory to the sweeps so I can set the export layer file to have all my sweeps go to a different layer (dwg layers=materials) then the wall layer and it's not possible!
I had to create single wall sweeps and assign the subcategory to each sweep type...
I don't understand why the subcategory option for sweeps-reveals was not included in the vertical compound walls... you can only assign a material (other than profile and position...)
Is there any way at all to assign a subcategory to a sweep contained in a vertical compound wall that i am not aware of?
If not, there most definitely should be...
