I have been searching for the last few weeks for a solution to my problem, but have not found my problem.
My problem is with PDF's made from the DWGtoPDF.pc3 file, that has an attached PDF on the sheet, but only PDF's with attached PDF's. If the PDF is converted to a JPG the final PDF prints fine.
I know I have found a work around, but I'd like to not have worry about it. I was also told that it was our .ctb file, I have tested that, it doesn't matter what .ctb file is used. We get the same results.

The line weights on the final file PDF usually print darker then normal.

I'm attaching PDF examples. The two sheets are with in the DWG file and the floor plans should match in line weight.

Thanks for any help and solutions anyone might have.
If you have any questions about anything please let me know.

Thank you,
Matt

Perhaps I'm not seeing what you are seeing. What viewer are you using? Both h1-1.pdf and h1-1-jpg.pdf look the same to me on my system. I'll try to upload a screenshot of them side-by-side attachments seem to be playing up a bit right now.

Looking at them on screen they will look the same, it's only when printed will you see a difference. The biggest difference will be between the H1-1 and H1-2 sheets.

Those are sheets H1-1-H1-1.pdf and 2017-07-11 Highpoint-H1-2.pdf in the attached JPG right? I just want to make sure.

H1-2 is the one on the bottom of the pic, H1-1 is the one on the top

And they were send through your PDF reader and not some batch print software? We use HP Click to send print jobs to our printer. And the way it's looking it might be a problem with that software.

No, we do not have the ability to plot directly to our Kip machine. I opened up our IPS interface and sent the plots like we do with all our plans here. All we do is plot to pdf, then print out the pdfs.

We had a KIP and any PDF attached to our drawing and sent through "Request" would turn black.

we dont use request, we use Printnet, the IPS that is on the machine itself. I havent used Request in at least 9 years, other than to convert plt to pdf.
