Hello All,

Has anyone looked into linking Revit with Power BI, to display project information in Power BI? We are looking at use cases for Power BI in our workflow, and have one example. Since Revit is a database, it would be nice to link these tools together and generate reports for Rooms or Exterior Materials. There are tools available to create custom "maps" to pull into the reports, but it would be nice not to have to do a bunch of rework if there is a design change, options or phases. I would see it as being able to link to a view (Plans, Sections, Elevations or 3D) in the Revit model, and then allow information embedded in the model to help generate reports in Power BI. We would probably utilize room function, occupancy, department, condition or utilization, in our plan reports. For Elevations, we could map out material selections, costs, embodied carbon, R/U Values or Acoustical characteristics.

Thank you,
