I use my ACAD 2005 every day. If I install the Inventor trial CD, will it cause any problems on my ACAD 2005 computer? I think I should just be able to use one or the other, but not both at the same time, right?
I want to try and learn more of this 3D CAD drawings, etc.
Thanks.........

Hi
Please note I've *moved* this thread from the ACAD 2005 General (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58) Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.
Thanks, Mike

Ive had Inventor Trial installed while running a licenced copy of AutoCAD. I had no problems running both at the same time. Form memory its a seperate installation between Inventor & AutoCAD off the trial CD.
The only problem I had was when I uninstalled the Inventor to Install a lisenced copy was with text. When I unstalled the program it removed the text style Romans (which probably isnt a problem for you).
Go for it and learn 3D, trust me you wont want to go back to 2D AutoCAD.
