Control line weights in custom scales

How can I control the line weights when I have a custom scale in a view properties?
For example, if I use view scale value of 1:600 in the scale what is the value that Revit use for represent the line weights. It´s 1:500?

It should be 1:500, especially if you don't have 1:1000, which would be the next closest...

I hadn't really thought about this one... but it seems that when you use a custom scale the lineweight will take the setting of the closest (numerically) standard scale, therefore at 1:600 the lines will behave as 1:500 but at 1:800 they behave as 1:1000 (if available).

Does that make sense?
