View Full Version : 2018 3DConnexion without Navbar in ACAD 2018

Hello everyone,

my name is Mubuk Amin from Sudan, and I live and work in Cologne, Germany.

After a long time of work with older versions of AutoCAD (2007), I had to switch to 2018 virtually at a moment's notice. I would like to switch on SpacePilot, but that only works with the Navbar visible.

Now I have switched off most of the interface gadgets, even changed back to Menu/Toolbox mode, just to feel at home to some extent. Since I can't even move the Navbar out of the graphic editor, it is quite a disturbance. I would very much like the 3DC manipulator to work without it.

Is that at all possible? Because I found only very old discussions about 3DC in ACAD 2011 an such. If this has been solved, please let me know.

Best,
Mubuk

Sorry, I haven't had this experience.
My problem is that my version of windows is too new and my 3dmouse is a few years old. It still works for navigation, but, my custom buttons don't work within applications anymore. It makes me sad... guess I just need to buy a newer device. lol.
