Some families add additional line styles into our projects.
Is there any way to restrict the families to add line styles into the project?

No way to restrict, but there's an add in to that you can use that will swap types.

One of the CASE-APPS addins has the function to swap out Line Styles. You can find it here: https://github.com/WeConnect/case-apps/releases there is also a 2018 installer called 'CASEApps-installer.exe' here: https://github.com/WeConnect/case-apps

You'll find the tool on the tab 'CASE-APPS #1' called 'Change/Replace Line Styles'

Please note: You cannot successfully change the line style of a line used in a group which is in the browser but not placed in the project.
