Occasionally, I work in translated AutoCAD drawings/models originated in NX (Unigraphics) format. The issue is that the AutoCAD Macro Virus Protection dialog box is displayed when you open a drawing flagging the drawing that contains macros. Any macros associated are no longer useful/irrelevant to my task. The list of options in https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoCAD-Core/files/GUID-61B67D77-C8C4-4259-8963-E8BE03C79A70-htm.html does not solve my problem because no Macros are actually available in the drawing, yet the dialog box appears every time drawing is opened. I just want to clear all macros.
Solution: WBLOCK command, select source “Entire drawing”, and give a new name and destination.
Important note: WBLOCK command will super purge your file. It will purge unused Layers, Blocks, Line types, Dim styles, Text styles, etc..
