View Full Version : Help with Residential Roof...
We were all smiles with the Revit demo, until it came time to do the roof. This is a typical cut-up residential roof we do in this area. We can't get this to work at all, if anyone out there can help or give advise I'd appreciate it. I've enclosed dwg files with the wall outline, and what the roof should look like. Thanks.

Michael,
Don't give up!! It's not as hard as you think.... ;)
Thanks Aaron, you pegged it. Paul, you were close but no cigar.
Did you do it by footprint? I can see that it's 3 roofs, is the roof join command what you used?
What a relief, maybe I just need more training. We are impressed with everything about Revit, but the problems with the roof was a show-stopper.

All I did was trace your footprint. Nothing more. Angle of the 10/12 and 12/12 pitch was off a bit in your AutoCAD drawing.

That's why it was a 5 minute freebee... :D
