I am working on a site that has curb and gutter that runs along side a road that is both sloped and curving. I want to figure out a way to create a path that a curb and gutter profile can sweep along. It would be great if I could pick a path that I would generate by splitting a toposurface but unfortunately Revit will not allow this. How do I create a path in three dimensions since there is not a work plane that will suffice. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It amazed me to review the wish list and noticed there does not seem to be much demand for better site modeling tools. Is it just me that thinks this is the weakest link in Revit. I will be posting to the wish list a variety of tools for site work that I believe would make Revit easier and more usefull. If you agree, support for the posts would be great.
