Can't acquire coordinates from a microstation file

I dropped my Microstation survey file into my Revit project intending to acquire its coordinates. For some reason when I try to select the file while in the Acquire Coordinates command Revit doesn't recognize the linked file. Any idea why?

Have you tried importing that drawing into an autocad file and then bringing it in?
