My office is prepping for an upgrade to C3D 2018. We have some concern that some of our subs may be stuck in the dark ages of 2013 (given cost or laziness) and in my testing I have found that the functionality of "export C3D drawing" leaves much to be desired. For instance, it crashes. Every time. If you select to "include layouts" in the export, it outputs layouts and models from one dwg as new, separate files (we run multiple layouts). I'm just looking for a way to take drawing "A" and save it down to the v2013 format for my subs. And if you say "use save as," keep in mind that C3D objects have to be exported; they cannot be "saved as".
From my few hours of testing, I've found more problems with 2018 than benefits.
