Ever needed to get a clients font into Revit to create say their logo via model text so as you can change the size of it parametricaly. Rather that having to import illustrator files and all of that hoo haa.
Now you can, I have used Marcomedia's Fontographer. You just open the font and then export it out as a true type font to your windows font folder, and bob's your uncle you can now use it in Revit. The only issue I have had is that occasionaly if you make the font say 500mm it is actualy 370mm. But a small price to pay.
If you get an early version of fontographer and you have over 1gb of RAM it will crash and say "not enough memory to run". So then you have to remove your precious ram to perform the operation.
