Okay... I've got a good one for you. the architect I work with is very stubborn and will not get out of release R14. I can't even get him into 2002. I've made it look just like his R14 screen. He just gets frustrated and reverts back.

Anyhoo... I've been trying to set everything up to print out of paper space (he hates the whole paper space vs. model space thing). I have one drawing that I set up for him with the viewport locked so he couldn't screw anything up. WRONG... When in R14 the previously locked viewport is no longer. So, now I've got mess to clean up. What's more is, he saves a drawing everytime he gets out of it or switches between drawings, therefore saving any mistakes he may have made and messing up everything i set up for him.

Okay... let me get to the question. Is there a way to lock that viewport so it can't be manipulated in R14. Once he starts zooming in and out, then everything is out of whack.

Thanks in advance...

I don't think you can lock the viewport. My old safety net was to save a named view for each viewport at the correct scale and position.
