'plot stamp' on sheets?

I'm a Revit newbie. I've taken the four-day class and now I'm trying to get productive. And I have another question:

In ACAD, there is the plot stamp, added through the plot dialog box. Is there such a thing in Revit?

Yes there is. You would build it into your title block. create a label and use the Date/Time Stamp parameter.
