i have a stair with a glass panel railing and at the the landing the panels do not seem to connect or join as one might think they would. the panel is a 24" wide glass panel that is my baluster. i am not sure where I went wrong. i am attaching a screen shot of the stair and railing and also attaching the stair and railing revit file

It looks to me like the pattern of balusters was not able to add an additional whole panel. If your panel is 24" and you want them to occur every 24" then the landing line (not the landing itself, the line representing the landing in the railing sketch mode) has to be 48". You'll notice that at the landing the panel starts right where the break occurs. From that point it needs 48" to get a second panel in there. Looks like it maybe has 30".
In the railings options there is place where you can select what you want to happen with unfinished patterns (look for Excess Length Fill in the balusters dialogue box) and you could create a smaller panel to fill these spaces, but from a buildability standpoint you might want to adjust the geometry of the stair to support full width panels.
