Fill Patterns

I need to create a fill pattern for Earth that is just at a smaller scale than the one that I have now. Can I just change the one I have in the project or do I have to create a new family file for the pattern? If so, how can I do that? I wish Revit had a scale command like CAD :(

I had to do the same thing. I just create a new one and named it earth-small. It's a bit of trial and error to get it looking right. I agree on the scaling for fill patterns!

How did you create a new fill pattern? I looked in the Revit Originals Imperial Template folder but did not see a template for creating a fill pattern.

You don't need a template. Go to Help file and type in Fill patterns. You can use any .pat files from Auto**** and import them in.
