Window Trim Visibility

I am trying to find a way so that the side view of casing and sills don't show up in an elevation. I would prefer to use a filter or other template compatible method. The reason for this is so that the profile of the building doesn't look too busy with the edges of trim showing up.

Any thoughts?

Either find out which Sub-Category the Sill and Frame are on and turn that off in the Elevation's Visibility/Graphics,
or edit the Family select those elements and, go into the Properties dialog.
Pick Visibility/Graphics Overrides and uncheck Left/Right.
One word of warning, though, turning off Left/Right will also turn off the frame and sills in Sections, where you might want to see them.
Option 1 is the better method

I'd create new sub categories so you can turn those off without messing with other families.
Just my thought.
