Copying text from pdf to Revit

What's the solution to getting a clean copy of text from a .pdf into a Revit Sheet?
Right now, when I copy text from pdf and paste into Revit, I get several repeat sentences and multiple, (LOTs of), extra spaces between words.The font I'm copying is autocad shx text and when I bring it into Revit and try to change the font it's not working properly.
Is there an easy way to do this?

copy the text to word first, format it then take it to Revit.

I should have mentioned int he original post that when I try to paste into word nothing happens,..

I found a vid on youtube that suggests, if the pdf is created from a .dwg, that you take the pdf into adobe illustrator and export it as a dwg, then open in autocad and scale if needed, save it, and open Revit and import the dwg into revit.
