Has anyone found a way to stop Revit from pointing to the most recent files used when we go to open a project? It's pointing at my local files - which I think is rather silly (and creates problems)

It's a toggle in Options>User interface

You can turn off the Recent Files page
From the View Tab...User Interface...Recent Files
But that only turns off the page. It doesn't stop what I suspect you want, the Recent Documents on the File menu
Those are stored in the user's Revit.INI file. I'm not aware of any apps that would flush those out.
I've been advocating for years to just make the whole "Local Copy" business go away.

It still needs to happen behind this scenes - like C4R does - but the user should never have to worry about which file (Central or Local) they are opening.
The user should never see anything other than the Central, and Revit should always make a new Local. But the user needn't even be aware that the is a Local Copy.

Yes, it's the recent files list I want to get rid off. I've already disabled the opening screen. I would rather Revit always points to our project archive - that's where people should be heading when they open Revit.
