Hi
I was wondering if anyone has come across the issue of the font in blocks when printing using the dwg-pdf printer in autocad 2018 enlarging (the font in the final PDF) to a unmanageable size. That is it grows in size to be larger than the viewport, very unsightly.
The issue is only on the drafters machine as it is unaffected on my machine, I tried to test the profile by changing it to mine but it had no effect what so ever.
If anyone has a solution, I would be appreciative in being pointed in the right direction.

Adobe has it's own built in fonts, but now works with all the fonts I've used.
What font are they using? While those that come installed with Windows and AutoCAD should be fine others like Helvetica can cause issues.
Is there a height set for the Text Style?

Hi Tom, thanks for the reply, I apologise that my response was not quicker, I was not notified of activity.
The particular problem I am experiencing is that on other machines there is not an issue only this one particular machine. Arial Narrow is the preferred font here. Yes the height is set for text style. This is what is perplexing that all other machines are ok, including mine. (This machine was only just put on subscription contract and was using AutoCAD LT 2015 which does not have this problem) Yet the 2018 version does? I am at a loss.

Long time user of AutoCAD's Swiss721 Lt BT I switched to using Arial Narrow as it is just as readable while taking an even smaller amount of screen space. Is the height for the Text Style the same as on the other PC's? Does it make any difference if they're drawn in Model -vs- Paper space? What if another user was to plot the same drawing to PDF the same way. It might narrow down where the issue is.

Thanks for the Reply again
When another opens the same drawing on another machine, all works out ok. The operator has moved on since then. I cannot get the same problem to occur on another machine
It also does not occur with other jobs. This is the perplexing part of this mystery. I have also tried changing operator profiles to rule out settings, no effect the same anomaly occurs.
I will have to put it down to a gremlin glitch.
Thanks for your time.
