Font not showing up in pulldown RAC 2016

Hello,

I am modeling a sign in Revit. I have installed the .otf font correctly on my windows desktop machine. I can use it in MS Word. I went to make a new type for the Model Text using dupliate and the new font is not in the pulldpwn list for me to use. I have shut down and reopened Revit and that didn't help. Next I am going to try shutting down my machine. Is there anything else that might help?

Not sure your font is supported by Revit.

Thanks David. I went to that thread https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/revit-actually-does-support-otf-ps-fonts-just-not-in-the-drop/td-p/6992988 and found out the Revit will support my font for printing and rendering but it wont show up in the pulldown according to Jeff Hansen at Autodesk. So strange! Guess I'll just have to use another font and have it be wrong. ugh!
