SPOT SLOPE NOT READING GREATER THAN 12

i have roof pitches that are 16"/12". when i place a spot slope on said roof it reads the 16" as something else. i am including a screen shot that shows the spot slope and the dimensions that read the correct slope.

In both 2018 and 2019, actual roofs yield the error you describe, but drawn geometry does not, whether annotative or model lines. Could that provide a work-around until this gets fixed?

Forget my previous post. Here's what is happening: 11 3/8:12 is the slope of the HIP of your two intersecting 16:12 roof planes. When placing the spot slope annotation, use TAB to cycle between plane 1, plane 2, and the hip to choose the appropriate one to label. Not intuitively obvious, I admit.
