What is the best possible laptop for Revit? Is a Surface Laptop a good option?

Much of this depends on the expected size of the model you wish to be working on. If you're working on a smaller model file size you might be ok with a cheaper laptop.
Our standard is the Lenovo P51 with 32gb of Ram.
For our rendering and VR options we purchased a P71.
I've seen some people with the P40 version with only 16gb or Ram.
I'd be looking for a laptop with the Fastest Clockspeed you can afford with at least 16gb or Ram and a decent graphics card.
