Does anyone have any tips for connecting handrail at main levels of a multi-story stair?

I've drawn a stair from L1 to L2, then added the remainder levels above it so there is no "stair landing" at the main levels.
I am just looking for a simple connection (vertical handrail in this case) without extending the handrail itself into the floor space.

Has anyone run into this problem before? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi there,

This is kind of a savage solution, but seems to work okay. Hopefully someone else has some alternative suggestions as well!

I modeled a termination family for the bottom rail that is controlled by an angle and height parameter to align with the top rail. Basically set the family for the end / top termination of the handrail type, and then in elevation views measure the CL height and angle of the base of the upper rail that you need to connect to, and then change the angle / height parameters of the termination family to match.
