View Full Version : 2018 Saving New Central to Server Error

Been having this issue every time our office attempts to save a new central file to our server. Get the error message "Access to 'File Name_backup.rws' was denied." Followed by "File Not Saved."

While attempting the save the file never gets above 12kb. Been searching forums but can't find anything on this specific issue.

Could possibly be an issue with anti-virus, Windows Defender, or firewall...trying turning each off and see if you still have the issue.

Could be permissions error on the File folder. Just a thought.
I'm assuming you can save a new central to your local c drive correct?

I first though it's likely to be permissions to that server/driver/folder, but if you can save a small file to that folder then perhaps it's a server space issue or user quotas have been activated -- best to check with whoever does the administration of the server/NAS/etc.
