I cant believe this is happening again :( - I delete or hide a layer in Revit within a linked DWG file . It comes back. I import as black and white lines the colours come back. What is going on??!!$£ I have a heap of stuff that does this. Very unhappy about it. Any help much appreciated.

Please send this in, unless the factory says its fixed. We too have had this issue on many projects basically anytime you add or remove a layer to your dwg file that is when the problem occurs. Typicaly just modifying the dwg has no issues, its only when you add or delete a layer(possibly rename)

We too are encountering this unfortunate problem. When we change an object in the autocad drawing, save then reload layer visibility in views is reset and colour options are changed.
This is totally unacceptable and makes it very hard to use existing autocad data, whether our own detailed site drawings, or topo data from surveyors.
With revits limited site works tools and lack of easy civil work detailing, it is imperative that this feature work correctly, especially for those of us trying to migrate our offices to using revit series.
(maybe fixed in 8) ??????
Thanks Steve.
