Here's a question -

Anyone use a third party software package for designing 3D piping systems? Perhaps one that has sanitary fittings and food process grade abilities?

All I've come across are industrial (read: utility and civil) duty programs, such as CADPIPE and 3DSmart. Any help?

Thanks,
Albert

Hi Albert,

First, does it need to work on AutoCAD?

If so, I know both of these are good systems (and include sanitory/dairy/food processing specifications and components - i.e. 3 way, 4 way valves etc):

Plant 4D from CEA International (www.cea-int.com) - Highly recommended
AutoPLANT from Bentley (yikes, Autodesk competitor) - Recommended.
