Best way to model a horizontal wall (eg. a framed Shelf)

Hi all,

First time posting on the forums but have been using AUGI as a resource for years.

Question: what is the best way to model a horizontal piece of interior wall? I'm designing a small shelf in a restroom and I'd like to be able to show a section cut through the room that shows horizontal metal framing, gyp bd, and tile along the horizontal plane (see yellow highlight in the attached image).

Thoughts on the best way to model this?

You've got a lot of options. I tend to like inplace sweeps as they are the easiest to modify. You could use a floor or a ceiling object and the convert to parts to adjust the gyp layer where you want it.
