slice massing object

Can I slice the massing object, like in AutoCAD? So the object will be divided into two parts by the sliced plane. I couldn't find the tool. Thx.

No, there is no tool like that.

You can edit the mass sketch to have one part finish along a "cutting plane ". You would then need to recreate the second part of the original mass element finishing against the same plane. You would then have two independent masses.

Using a very thin void mass to cut the original mass doesn't achieve the same result.

An "X-acto" tool would be nice, like the Slice tool for walls and lines, to be used on masses to split them into two or more parts.

And a Sketchup-like tool, to draw a line on a face, and then 'push-pull' the resultant faces....
