I am brand new to Raster Design and am looking for some help and guidance.
I am inserting a tiff image that was converted from a pdf into the software and when i go to create some primitives it's giving me this at the command line "The defined point or geometry did not intersect a bitonal image."
I don't know how the pdf was created and I didn't change any of the settings when saving as a tif.

any help would be most appreciated.
thanks

It's been a while since I have done a lot of work in RD, but we always operated on bitonal TIFF files.

Here is a blog post on one particular operation (http://cadpanacea.com/wp/?p=1168), perhaps this may help some.

Perhaps the tiff is not bitonal. The color depth could be greater than 1. Run the IDEPTH command (on the Raster Tools palette tab, Edit panel), and change it to bitonal. Then see if you get the same error.

That worked Ed. Thank you very much.
