Hi,

My window-families are made with two voids instead of an opening cut.
I don't want my windows to be transparent in an elevation-view, how can I make the glass not transparent/see through?
I have tried changing the material settings with no luck.

Regards

Jesper

Normally material transparency does not matter in an elevation view. Are you using a 3D view oriented to a specific elevation? Have you checked the visibility settings for your glass in elevation views?

Turn off the visibility of the glass in an elevation if you want to see through the window. Revit assumes you do not want to see through glass in elevation, so it ignores the material transparency.

My windows wasn't transparent before when the window had an opening cut in the family.
But I had to replace the opening cut in the window-family with voids because I needed to show an angled opening cut on the wall in plan view.
After this the glass in the windows are 100% transparent.

I'm using an ordinary elevation view, not an oriented 3D view.
I've tried uncheck several thing in the visibility settings but I might missed something obvious.

I don't want them to be transparent, how can I get the glass to be solid?

Thanks for helping me out!

It turns out that the glass, in the casement inswing family from the window family, was set to not visible.
I guess I was tired last friday...
