How do I open or create a structural plan view?

Create or open a floor plan at the level you are concerned with, duplicate it and go to View>Apply View Template and apply a structural framing plan view template to it. You may still have to adjust some settings depending on your standards, but that ought to get you started.

Under View Properties (VP ), select Structural as the Discipline.(Architectural, Structural or Co-ordination are the choices )

This hides all non load bearing elements from view.
