Is there any way to use Revit for the British Rights of Light rules?
I've been trying to use insight lighting analysis for it but I'm not sure about the settings / interpretation required to get conclusive results.
The key points for these standards are
glazing / framing losses are not accounted for
a working plane is taken 700 mm above the floor level
areas with more and less than 0.2% 'sky factor' must be plotted for both with and without the proposed neighbouring building
over 50% of the room should have over this limit to avoid issues.
Is there any way to use Insight for this sort of output?
thanks
