Hi,

I'm new to Revit, and I'm currently trying to model a single family residence. 1-story structure.
This is my first attempt at creating ceilings.
I know that to create ceilings, I first need to be in the Ceiling Plan view.
So far, I've built my concrete slab, exterior walls, and interior walls.

Under Project Browser > Ceiling Plans, I see the following Levels already automatically created:

Level 1
Level 2

I checked the Ceiling Plan of every single level, but the plan is empty. I don't see any drawing!

I tried to edit my View Range, but still I don't see my ceiling plan showing up.

I haven't built my roof yet. Is that the reason? Do you need the roof first for the ceiling plan to show up?

FYI:

I'm using Window 7 Professional
I'm using Revit 2018

I'd appreciate your help!

Do you see the walls in the ceiling plan? Yes you need to create a ceiling or roof to see them in the view. You should see the walls in the view though, assuming you've made them tall enough.
