Good day everybody,
Feeling very perplexed at the moment.
We have got a large project on the go at the moment with around 63 buildings on one site. All buildings are individual models that are work shared using Revit 2017. We have 6 users who each have their own share of the buildings that they look after. Recently one of our buildings started crashing Revit whenever we opened any of the floor plans or sheets containing a floor plan. The confusing part is that the model would crash on half of the office PC's and NOT the other half. I have finally managed to figure out that it was some dodgy links that was causing the crash to occur in the first place.
My question then is why would some PC's open the model just fine and others would crash??? I have checked all the PC's and they are all the same build of Windows 7 Pro with same updates, they all have the same graphics card with the same drivers. All PC's have the same version of Revit installed with all the required updates installed (2017.2.4) and they all have same settings.
:banghead:
If anyone has any advice or insight, I would highly appreciate it.
Thanks and kind regards,
Des
