Wall cleanup

How can I clean up this wall condition. I wish the horizontal interior stud (single wall type) to come across to the window. The vertical wall is a wall style with veneer attached. I need the veneer pulled back at this condition.

Select the vertical veneer wall, right-click the blue dot marking its upper end and select "Disallow Join." Then drag wall ends to where you want them.

Before the "Disallow Join", which will work well enough, you could try the "Wall Joins" tool to change the order in which the two walls join. Also, it is important to know the wall layers numbers to control how they join. In the wall type editing, in particular there is Finish 1 and Finish 2.
