I have had nothing but problems with A2005 and Raster 2005. I have tried reinstalling with no virus protection on clean uninstall as per Autodesk's instructions changed my memory setting within Raster from 20 to 10 to 0, I think I have tried everything on this site and nothing is helping. I have installed hot fix 2 and SP1.
Where I work our IT group does not give us rights to do any mods so my guess is I need to make this next one count. I do appreciate the help found here, if not here where else do you get great assistance?
Now that I am venting I have come up with a couple questions.
1- Do I need to have Hot Fix 1 installed along with and before Hot Fix 2?
2- Does it matter what order SP1 is installed at (I will check the "read mes" out in a minute)
3- Is Raster 2004 compatible with XP and A2005?
Thanks.

1- Do I need to have Hot Fix 1 installed along with and before Hot Fix 2?Not really sure, but it doesn't hurt to do it that way.
2- Does it matter what order SP1 is installed at (I will check the "read mes" out in a minute)I would go by the date that they were released.
3- Is Raster 2004 compatible with XP and A2005?Yes with XP. No to A2005.

I should have paid more attention to the UNDERLINED text. It wasn't even the "fine" print.
I have how done a complete uninstall of Raster and reinstalled all SP1 and Hot Fix 2. The last problem I am having is that when I plot running Raster it freezes up. I would have thought that item 3 on the Hot Fix 2 list of things it helps would have solved this but when I went back and checked the "read me" again I noticed a "?" mark at the end of item 3. See below.
{Summary of Update
This update addresses the following issues:
1. Faster image pan and zoom. This update will significantly improve the panning and zooming speeds for all image types.
2. Ability to save images when demand loaded. This update will allow images to be saved, if Raster Design was demand loaded after a drawing with images was opened.
3. Plot stability. This update makes image plotting more stable. ? }
Looks like more work is needed, at least in my case. I will keep checking back for updates.
Thanks again for your help.

I have the same problems :(
Neither Hotfix, nor SP1 help me to solve them :(

I use Land Desktop 2005 and before loading Raster everything seems ok, but after that... :(

Hello with all.
We have just installed "Raster Design 2005" a few days ago in our company.
Users noticed, and it is the same on my working station, as it is impossible to print a drawing containing an image (tif, GP4) in RD... how is possible since it must be conceived specifically for that?
And statement that Autocad 2005 is able for its part, wow!
We have "Raster Design 2005, SP#1"... who has you it to make to solve this extremely significant problem?
I hope for an answer but especially a solution...
Bye!

stephan.villeneuve,
Try installing Hot Fix 3. It worked for us. You can find it at Autodesk's site

Thanks a lot.
Hot Fix 3 make a (real) good job, a drawing with image is printable now in Raster Design.
Ouf...
