Principals want existing contours to show as dashed and proposed contours as solid lines. I've been able to achieve this with two toposurfaces (one phased to existing and the other new), set Object Style for contour lines to dashed so all contour lines appear dashed in both topo, then use a subregion on the new topo around the new contours, and then override it to be transparent with solid contour lines.
On a simple project this isn't so bad, but on a complicated project I'm guessing it'll become quite challenging, especially as revisions are made to the topography.
I'd really like to know if there was a way Revit could automatically know where two toposurfaces diverged and assign a linestyle to that so that all the contours that are coplanar remain unchanged.
Does this make sense? Any ideas? Thanks for any feedback!
