I'm confused about how to see if links have been loaded correctly in a file which is work shared in BIM 360.

The saved paths are all starting with BIM 360:// but after that they are slightly different in the beginning of the path. When I go in and look at the paths it looks like some are linked via

'External Resources > Project > Folder > file'

and others come from

'My Computer > BIM 360 > Company hub > Project > Folder > file'

But aren't these two the same file? Which one is correct for links - or doesn't it matter?

I have a suspicion that the ones through 'My Computer' are my local copies of the cloud files. They are synchronized, but probably not the correct way to link? The ones offered by default through 'External Resources' are probably the right ones. Documentation on this point is unclear to me - and I have read quite a few places ...

About Migrating Linked Models to BIM 360 (http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2018/ENU/?guid=GUID-080ACAFC-BC72-4ABF-A1FD-B04F24E0D8E6) refers to 'direct' and 'indirect' linking without defining those terms. Is that the difference - and is it related to these two ways of linking? I notice that files not workshared to BIM 360 (Initiated) are only available via 'My Computer > BIM 360 > Company hub > Project > Folder > file'.

Sorry for the long question, I'm just trying to be precise.

EDIT: I feel like this is the answer to my questions: Link Revit Models in BIM 360 (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/bim-360/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/ENU/About-BIM360/files/about-bim-360-design/About-BIM360-about-bim-360-design-link-revit-models-in-bim-360-html-html.html)
