regular expression in formula

i assume it's no doable to use regular expression in formula, isn't it? what i'm thinking is to get central file name and user name from local file name which is available in "File Path" OOTB paremeter in titleblock, any solution except coding (API, Dynamo)?

What are you trying to accomplish?
You just want a label to return the central file name and path vs the local file name and path?

yes Dave, i can get both central file name and user name from local file name which is available OOTB, only need a bit of string operation which i assume not doable unless coding
