ODBC Values

Currently in Autodesk Revit all values in ODBC export are in metric. Should there be an option as to what the values are exported as?

I had not realized until Mr. Conant's post today that ODBC exports used metric units. This adds another layer of complexity when it comes to integration with estimating packages. Does anyone know if the native Revit database stores everything in metric?

This adds another layer of complexity when it comes to integration with estimating packages.
On the contrary, I think it makes it easier as "the estimating package" always knows what the ODBC units are.
