We recently had an issue where we weren't able to place lights on the ceiling in the architects linked in model without going into "Revit Links" and hiding their lighting fixtures. Once we hid their fixtures, we were able to host/place them. Has anyone else run into this issue? It doesn't make sense to me why this would need to be off in order to place lights, so I'm wondering what the reason might be.

It likely has to do with the object withing the light that controls its luminance (it is a yellow lined shape dictating the reach of the light source). When you are trying to place a new light it may be trying to host to this object. You could try turning off just the visibility of this item (light source) in the visibility settings and try placing a new light again to narrow down the issue.

I thought this was the issue too. Unfortunately turning our light source off still doesn't allow us to place the fixture if the arch lights are on...
