Was attempting to upgrade a series of R19 models to R21 and I keep on the error that the files is corrupt and needs to be repaired manually. I believe several models were created off the a model in the group so the same issue has most likely translated to others.

I have tried detaching, purging, deleting cache files, renaming files, the whole shebang. I have tried looking at the journal but I haven't been able to decipher the issue and find the error.

If anybody is looking for a challenge could you please take a look or offer and suggestions.

Maybe you could make a more comprehensive list of what you tried. I'm not going to make a long list of suggestions for things you might want to try ... you might have already tried them. You've failed to mention addons, links, audit ...

First open the R19 model with the Audit check box checked. When you save check the compact checkbox.
The other way I've resolved those issues is to save out all of the families. If you have a family that was unable to be saved, that's most likely the issue.
I'd also suggest that you upgrade version by version.

This could be the other issue.
' 2 API_ERROR { System.NullReferenceException exception(Object reference not set to an instance of an object.) was thrown from a handler of Autodesk.Revit.Proxy.DB.Events.DocumentOpenedEventArgsProxy event. The API event handler was registered by application Keynote Manager + (457da48a-c5ea-4f6f-8cf3-7c7a1dbd115e). Changes made by this handler are going to be discarded. }

There seems to be an issue with some of the API builds that you have as well. Based on what the journal says before the model load stream starts, it looks like there's some build errors within a number of your Add-Ins.

I think there was also an issue with a version of Keynote manager and Collaboration for Revit as well as a CTC tools Suite issue for 2021.

Just some guesses.
