Hello again,
I apologize for beating this roof topic to death, I'm having a moment regarding the attached pic of the two gable roofs, (3 including the garage) I've tried the Roof by footprint as well as Slope Arrow,? this cant be that difficult yet I'm drawing a blank. Thank you in advance.

We're gonna need more information than that. You want to model a roof like in the picture? What has worked so far?
Have you tried making the dormers with Roof by Footprint as triangles seen from above? In the two 'bottom' corners you can have tiny 1mm edge parallel to the intended slope. You can use these to define the slope. Make sense?

Thanks Duncan, I had tried the Roof by Footprint as well as the Dormer, each time getting the "roof cannot be joined" I checked my roof heights, eaves, etc...,I'm not familiar with the triangle but will try again, thank you again.

You can also try creating oversized regular gable roof (1) and cut it with Vertical Opening Tool (2) to get the shape you need (3).
