I hope someone can help me with this one.
The roof in Revit 7 is just not joining correctly.
There are two Pdf. Files that will show you what I mean.

Can we see the sketch views? I am sitting here doing nothing but waiting for renderings to get done so I might be able to take a stab at it if I can compare the 2...unless I fall asleep....I'm getting pretty groggy...

Here are a few things to check:

Are all of your overhangs the same length?
Is "extend wall into core" checked on all the segments?
Are all of your roof slopes the same?

If it is not one of these items then Revit is probably building the roof correctly based the geometry that you have given it. You may have to check your wall dimensions and adjust them to get your roofs to come out correctly.

This is definitely something that changed between 6 and 7. I can do the same roof consistently in each and get different results. 6 is always closer to the desired result. 7 almost never gets hips pointed the right direction.

I am having the same problem in Revit 7.0 any explanation by the factory about this behavior? Should I do my roof in Revit 6.0 and open it in 7 later? is there any workaround?
