I hope this is the right place to put this. Come to think of it, Tips & Tricks would also be a good place for it, but I'll let the moderator make that decision.
I found these commands in the Land Desktop 2005 Getting Started Guide, and thought they might be of some help when you're switching between menu palettes.
Command -->Function
--------------- -->----------------------------------------------------
MLD ------>Loads the Land Desktop menu
MLC ------>Loads the Land Desktop Complete menu
MCD ------>Loads the Civil Design menu
MSV ------>Loads the Survey menu
MMP ----->Loads the Autodesk Map Menu ***
*** MMP wasn't listed in the guide, but it wasn't hard to figure out
