Can't mirror filled region with model pattern?

Hi all!

I'm in a drafting view and have a filled region which - when i try mirroring it - rotates the model pattern by 90 degs.... am i doing something wrong?

I've noticed that when i use a similar drafting pattern (brick) it mirrors OK, but that pattern size is not suitable!

What am i missing?

you can rotate the pattern back to how you wish it to be after the mirror if that helps.

Just tab select one of the lines on the pattern and use the rotate command.
